WMB (Installations) Ltd – Our responsibilities

We take responsibility to our employees, clients, the public and our environment very seriously.

Quality
At WMB we always strive to ensure that our clients receive the best quality installation at all times. WMB have ISO9001 in place to ensure that this is the case every time. Should any problems arise our Quality Assurance procedures allow for us to pinpoint problem areas and deal with them in the appropriate manner.

Health & Safety
WMB ensure that our employees on-site are aware of any recent legislation that affects them and those around. All of our on-site team hold an ECS Certificate. Our Health and Safety Director holds a NEBOSH Construction Certificate in Health & Safety with our Office Manager currently completing the award.

All of our Site Managers are SMSTS trained with foremen holding at least an SSSTS Certificate to show that they are competent to manage the Health & Safety on their sites and toolbox talks are carried out on a regular basis.

WMB are accredited by CHAS and are also Constructionline registered. We are currently updating our Health and Safety system to gain OHSAS 18001 in 2014.

Environmental
At present WMB are in the process of ensuring that our Environmental System can gain us ISO 14001.We are becoming more involved with Energy Saving ideas and in turn this is helping our environment. We are also currently looking at the WRAP Halving Waste to Landfill Initiative and our Head Office in Swinton has 85% recycling rate.

WMB are working towards achieving an Integrated Management System (IMS) within the coming months and we hope that these new procedures can show continuous improvement on our part.
